The Mercedes Shooting Brake entered European car market end of 2012. In this project I was responsible for the development of NVH parts and components (NVH = Noise Vibration and Harshness). It included the development of parts and components which help to reduce noises in the passenger cabin, as well as vibrations. Harshness is a rather subjective quality. One can imagine how difficult it is to agree on a subjective quality in such a big scaled project involving many engineers and managers.
I was also responsible for the development of trunk parts; including all interior parts that one can see when opening the trunk.
