Summer School on Creativity Engineering 2018, Bogotá, Colombia
The Summer School on Creativity Engineering 2018 was held at La Sabana University, Bogotá, Colombia from 04-09. June 2018. With students from Colombia, Guatemala and Peru, the summer school was indeed an international event. The lectures were accompanied by a guest lecture in Design Thinking, given by Claudia Umanzor Zelaya, research professor at the Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of La Sabana University. All participating students developed project ideas strongly related to Bogotá and Colombia.
The project works will be published in a book by end of 2018.
Summer School on Creativity Engineering 2014, Vienna, Austria
The Summer School on Creativity Engineering 2012 was held in Vienna, Austria from 07.-25. July 2014. It was organized by INNES Vienna; the course was held at the facilities of INNES Vienna. With an amazing mix of international participants – ranging from students to young professionals – a three week intensive course was realized. Many new and creative ideas were developed and were further developed and sharpened to fit a business plan for idea implementation. The participants were coached by lecturers from academia and industry.

Summer School on Creativity Engineering 2012, Vienna, Austria
The Summer School on Creativity Engineering 2012 was held in Vienna, Austria from 02.-20. July 2012. The summer school took place at the Vienna University of Technology. Participants were from China, Iran, USA, Uruguay, Columbia, Belgium, Russia, Germany, Slovenia and Egypt – a fantastic cultural mix as a basis for great ideas and projects developed during the course.
Lecturers were from the automotive industry in Germany, the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia in Spain, Nagoya City University in Japan and the Washington State University in USA.
Participants formed multicultural and interdisciplinary teams to develop their creative ideas and prepare them for implementation. The results are currently being prepared to be published in a book.

Summer School on Creativity Engineering 2011, Vienna, Austria
The Summer School on Creativity Engineering 2011 was held in Vienna, Austria from 04.-22. July 2011 and was hosted by the Vienna University of Technology. With participants from Brazil, China, Greece, Guatemala, Iran, Portugal, Russia, Slovenia and… Austria and lecturers from Austria and Spain, this course was indeed multinational.
Participants with different background were getting together to learn and experience a new impression of creativity. The course contained two weeks of lectures, along with workshops, company visits and guest lectureres from industry and academia. In the third week, participants worked in groups on an idea in order to prepare it for professional presentation. The preparation of the ideas contained a clear goal and scope defintion, a small business plan, a SWOT analysis and a powerful presentation of the idea.
